The Sabres suffered a heavy defeat away to the UCLan Rams, in a game that was rearranged after being postponed in December. The Sheffield Sabres got their second win of the season and their second straight home win this Sunday against Hull Sharks. In a game hampered by wet weather the Sabres played well on offence, defence and special teams to get the much needed win and take their record to 2-2. The Sheffield Sabres suffered a heart-breaking overtime defeat away at Leeds Beckett Carnegie this Sunday, having lead for most of the game. The game ended 28-28 before Carnegie won the game in overtime.

Durham Saints 42 – 6 Sheffield Sabres

On Saturday 8th November the Sheffield Sabres visited the Durham Saints for each team’s second game of the season. Sheffield coming off a very close loss to Loughborough, and Durham having beaten the reigning national champions the week before.
