After an initial score by Leeds Beckett, the Sabres fought their way into the end zone with Full Back Bob Brownlees’ first rushing touchdown of the season. Another Leeds touchdown brought the score to 16-8 at half time with the sabres offence unable to convert before the break.

After suffering numerous injuries and a tough loss against the UCLan Rams before Christmas, The Sabres were looking forward to implementing a modified Offensive playbook for a chance to come away with a win despite a diminishing roster. The Sabres suffered a tough loss against the UCLan Rams on Saturday. Following a bad loss against the Hallam warriors two weeks prior, the Sabres travelled to Preston with a heavily depleted squad as many important players unable to play due to injuries. Available players were forced to play out of position with Linebackers filling in on the Offensive Line and Offensive Lineman on the Defensive Line.

After a short kick return and a punt on Sabres first possession, Hallam took the field driving the ball consistently down the field resulting in a rushing touchdown.
